Update: CotF is Coming Back, Alex got a job and a girlfriend
So, I was holding off on giving another status update until I was absolutely positive about what I was doing, but it’s been a while and you guys have been very patient, so here’s the scoop:
Children of the First will return with chapter 22 on Friday, April 17th.

So if you’ve been reading Children of the First lately–or rather, not reading, since I haven’t posted a new chapter in quite some time–you probably noticed I’ve been AWOL for a month and change. I suppose you might have noticed from twitter or something too, but that’s neither here nor there.

Update time: I Finished College
I finished college today.
Just turned in my hours sheet for theater practicum, I’m officially finished being a college student. Now I get to be a farmer! Then a grad student… school don’t quit.

Hurricane Update
So my plans for the evacuation have changed many times. It was not that fun.
Anyhow, I’ve bagged up my favorite books and moved the small electronics and such up off the floor. I made a new travel carrier for Ozy (my snake), packed up some of my clothes, and got my stuff together for the trip.
We’ll be heading for Tallahassee in a half hour or so. The city is EMPTY. It’s weird.
I don’t have a hell of a lot to say, other than that I’m fine and getting out of the city soon. Damnit.
