Spoiled Girls Galore, Live at the Grog & Tankard
My friend Marsh’s band was sans a drummer a while back and I happened to be back in town visiting that month, so I stood in for a while. I even managed to (mostly) learn their set in time to play the show they had lined up in DC at The Grog & Tankard (We were in Maryland, so it’s not like it was a tour or anything). This video was shot from the audience on a hand held camcorder (which totally isn’t obvious from the video.) Yes, I know I look silly when I start to… get silly.
Besides me, the lineup in the video is as follows (left to right):
Mick Sexton – lead guitar
Moira Annelin – lead vocals
Chris Cortelyou – rhythm guitar and backing vocals
Alex Marsh – bass guitar
(And then there I am in the back, and with long hair no less)
Since that show (it was a while ago) the band has changed their name to Sweet Interference and released their first album, Losing the Highway. You can check them out at http://www.myspace.com/sweetinterference.
